Culture Pie: Noemi & Kristoffer

The MCB Project‘s baby cousin The MCB Shop, is having a trunk show next week at Sir & Madame in Hyde Park (Chicago). The trunk show will featureĀ  ready-to-wear turbans, ties, bow-ties, and art-inspired tees.

When you’re creating something, it’s always good to have a companion to share ideas with and to get some feedback (or push back) from. When I think of some of my favorite creative couples, the names Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis, Charles and Ray Eames, Geoffrey Holder and Carmen de Lavallade, and Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti come to mind.

When planning the trunk show, I decided to begin by celebrating and highlighting of some of my favorite creative couples. These are companions who, not only love each other, but who inspire each other to produce their very best work. Enjoy!
