Ibeyi, a musical duo, consists of twin sisters Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Diaz of French/Cuban heritage (their father was famed Cuban percussionist Anga Diaz). They sing in English and Yoruba. The word Ibeyi translates to twins in Yoruba. As explained on their website, the Yoruba people have the highest twinning rate in the world and twins occupy an important position within the Yoruba culture.
In a few days, on February 17th, they will release their debut album. You can listen to the full album on NPR‘s website.

This is definitely a duo to keep your eye on.
