A few months ago, I was asked to be a part of a Leadership Team for a non-profit organization in Chicago called the Experimental Station. This organization does amazing work in ecological, educational and cultural programs for the South Side of Chicago. As a member of the Leadership Team, my goal is to bring more cultural events and awareness to the Experimental Station.
My first endeavor marries art and food- two of my absolute favorite things!
Our first installment of Food for Thought features the artwork of Chantala Kommanivanh and the culinary creations of Ricardo Paniagua. The evening will begin with cocktails and a showing of the artwork and will be followed by a five course, chef’s table meal inspired by each piece in the gallery!
Cocktails will be provided by Angel’s Envy Kentucky Bourbon and wine pairings will be provided by H2Vino.
Food for Thought will take place on March 19 from 6-9 PM at the Experimental Station (6100 S. Blackstone). Seats are very limited for this intimate affair so get your ticket today.
