Kevin Francis Gray creates modern neoclassicist-inspired sculptures. He attention to detail in the draping is especially highlighted in his works. He often works in fiberglass resin, wood, and automotive paint
to create minimalistic pieces of figures and life lifted from the neglected recesses of our contemporary metropolises. Gray’s sculptures project a sense of nobility and admiration for an often marginalized and consciously melancholic inner-city youth subculture. He studied at National College of Art and Design (Dublin, Ireland), SAIC (Chicago, IL) and Goldsmiths College (London, UK). Originally from Ireland, he currently lives in London.
